The Bridger Raptor Festival usually occurs the first week of October and celebrates the 17 species of raptors that visit the Bridger Mountain annually. During the festival the largest known migration of Golden Eagles migrate through Bozeman. Festival activities include a slide show on the various types of Raptors that pass through Bozeman every year.

This four-day festival is action packed with films, panels, labs, sessions, live music, art exhibits and parties related to topics on film, television, photography, art, fashion and music. It features an opening night premiere followed by a kick-off concert. All of the remaining nights will showcase student films as well as selected shorts, independent features and studio premieres.
